Our vision of organising walking holidays has evolved over a lifetime of enjoying outdoor activities throughout the mountainous areas of the UK and Europe. We now want to share our passion for walking in beautiful surroundings. We have chosen the Dordogne area of France because during a walking holiday we fell in love with its magical landscape. Known as the ‘Valley of Man’ the Vesere Valley is steeped in medieval and prehistory. For us the dramatic cliffs topped by chateaux, the ochre coloured buildings with their unique Perigordian  roofs, the undulating valleys and hills, the gentle flowing meandering rivers of the Vesere and the Dordogne are beyond compare in any other region of France. We adore the local cuisine and of course the wines of the region.

We are a family business. Cheryl has worked as a walk leader for our local council for over three years. With a passion for history she holds a first class honours degree. She is also a fully qualified Pilates instructor.  Paul is a fully qualified Mountain Bike trail leader, swim teacher and triathlon coach.  We are both qualified Walk Group Leaders awarded by the Mountain Leader Training Board and recognised by the British Mountaineering Council.
